Tehran, Jan 15, IRNA - The German Federal Police Chief Dieter Roman met Sistan-Baluchestan province border guard commander on Sunday.

* * * Dieter Roman heading a delegation including German police senior officials arrived in Zahedan on Saturday to get familiar with Iran's measures in fighting smuggling narcotic drugs and review the conditions of illegal foreigners.
During the meeting, Brigadier Saeed Komeili expounded on the latest conditions of Iran's common borders with Afghanistan and Pakistan.
Komeili called for international cooperation to uproot trafficking illegal drugs.
He referred to the threats of terrorist groups, drug smugglers, illegal foreigners for international communities, saying that Iran has taken preventive measures for physical obstruction of borders, training expert border guards and equipping border units.
Other topics discussed during the meeting consisted of getting familiar with polluted areas, neighboring countries' cooperation in fighting smuggling illegal drugs, controlling common borders, taking preventive measures in monitoring borders and reviewing other countries' role in fighting trafficking narcotic drugs.
German delegation also visited the latest achievements of Sistan-Baluchestan border guard command's exhibition.
Sistan-Baluchestan is located in South East of Iran and has common border with Afghanistan and Pakistan.
