Bakhtiari Definition

A tribe living in western Iran : They speak Lori and are mostly Shiite Muslims. Their two tribal groups are the Chaharlang and Haftlang; the position of leader of all the Bakhtiari alternates every two years between the chiefs of the two tribal groups.
